Gibson: A Torrid Love Affair
Gibson Brands, the world’s most iconic guitar brand, has shaped the sounds of generations of musicians and music lovers across genres for more than 100 years. So, it’s no wonder Zach has a love affair with Gibson; he can often be seen performing with a Les Paul Jr or SG, alongside his 1957 Gibson LG-1 Acoustic. Zach recently fostered a new relationship with Gibson after the development of their new artist relations program.
“Gibson makes some of the best guitars…period. They’re cool, iconic, and mean sounding! And you can’t beat a Gibson acoustic guitar. They have that classic, roots and folk sound that just takes you back to the times of the early pioneers of American music. My first serious guitar was an Epiphone Les Paul Standard that my mother gave me. My first USA made guitar was a Gibson USA SG special that I purchased on layaway when I was 16. I just had to have it, so I saved up gig after gig until I could finally purchase it. Now I have several Gibson instruments that I cherish dearly. Thanks Gibson for making the quality instruments that I grew up on and play to this day!” – ZP
